Jo LaMarca Mathisen, an Emmy-winning television producer, has worked with major media organizations like NBC News’ Today, CNBC, SiriusXM, and CBS. Now co-producing The M Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause, she draws on decades of broadcast journalism experience. After leaving her role at Today with Hoda and Jenna due to severe menopause symptoms, Mathisen shifted her focus to uncovering its causes and solutions, aiming to help women navigate this life stage with greater understanding.

Dr. Shefali Patel-Shusterman, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN specializing in comprehensive gynecologic care from adolescence through menopause. Based in Westfield, NJ, she opened her private practice in 2009, offering expert care in birth control, PCOS, menopause management, fibroids, endometriosis, and minimally invasive surgery. Her boutique practice provides in-office ultrasounds, colposcopies, biopsies, and medical cosmetics like Botox and fillers. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Gujarati, she is known for her expertise and compassionate care. A graduate of the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Medicine and Mount Sinai School of Medicine, she stays at the forefront of advancements through ongoing medical education
